St Davids is the smallest city in Britain, a city only because of its medieval cathedral, tucked into a hollow to hide it from Viking raiders. It sits at the wild north-western tip of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, surrounded by some of the best coastline and boat trips in Wales.

St Davids holds city status because of St Davids Cathedral, the resting place of the patron saint of Wales. With a population of under 2,000, it is the smallest city in the United Kingdom by population, and city status was formally reconfirmed by the Queen in 1994.
